Privacy policy

Mattie helps groups of friends find a time to meet through an AI assistant.

What we store

• Account (people who connect an AI assistant): Google e-mail address and name.
• Groups: group name, and each member's name and e-mail address as entered by a group admin.
• Availability requests: title, period and times, participants, and per participant whether they accepted, plus the busy/free blocks of those who accepted, for the requested period only.

Google user data

With your consent per request, Mattie uses the calendar.freebusy permission once to read when you're busy in your primary calendar during the requested period. It receives no event titles, descriptions, locations or attendees. The Google access token is revoked right after this single read, and no refresh token is ever requested. Signing in to connect an AI assistant uses only your Google name and e-mail. Mattie's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is never sold, used for advertising, or shared, except that the organiser of a request sees which suggested times you are free for (never your busy blocks).

Retention

Requests and all availability data are deleted automatically within 72 hours (sooner if the period ends or the organiser cancels). Group memberships stay until you leave the group (via the link in any request e-mail) or an admin removes you. Account holders can delete their account and data at any time by asking their assistant to "delete my Mattie account".

Processors

Google Cloud (hosting and database, EU region europe-west4) and Resend (sending request e-mails).
